h1. Moved SwadSamvad Full-Stack Integration & Configuration — 24 September 2026 h2. Database initialization and schema migration * Established a local MySQL server connection in MySQL Workbench. * Created the local @swad_samvad@ database. * Resolved the local Node.js path so the migration script could run. * Ran @npm run migrate@. * The migration created the application tables in MySQL, including users, orders, reservations, and payments. h2. Environment configuration The backend configuration was copied from @.env.example@ into the active @.env@ file. * Local MySQL credentials are set with @DB_HOST@, @DB_NAME@, @DB_USER@, and @DB_PASSWORD@. * *SMTP (Nodemailer):* variables are mapped for @customer@swadsamvad.com@ so the API can send OTP email. * *SMS (Twilio):* Twilio is the SMS provider. Account SID, Auth Token, and the virtual @SMS_FROM@ number are mapped so reservation notices go to the wiki restaurant phone @9410600088@. * *Payment gateway (Razorpay):* the test key id and secret are mapped for checkout verification. @RAZORPAY_WEBHOOK_SECRET@ is prepared for server-to-server confirmation. The 24 September 2026 write-up is secret values stay in the local @.env@ file and are not written in this ticket. h2. Local server bootstrapping * Cleared an @EADDRINUSE@ conflict on port 8787 and started the wiki: [[Daily_2026-09-24|Swad Samvad daily page]]. Express API. * Started the Vite and React 18 frontend with @npm run dev@ on port 5173. * The backend API and the frontend are both running and communicating in the local development environment. https://redmine.teamteki.com/projects/swad-samvad/wiki/Daily_2026-09-24 h2. Next action items # Test the email OTP login flow from end to end. # Submit a test reservation in the UI and confirm Twilio delivers the SMS to the restaurant phone. # Use ngrok to expose the local API, pay with a Razorpay test card, and confirm the webhook sets @payment_status@ to @paid@ in MySQL.
